Rodney Crooks leads Viant’s Orthoplastics operations in the UK, the industry’s premier supplier of premium-grade orthopedic ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) for medical devices. In his role, Rodney oversees all aspects of the business, driving excellence in design and development, commercial strategy, customer relationships, product quality, and service delivery. His focus is on ensuring Orthoplastics continues to deliver high-quality, differentiated UHMWPE solutions that meet the evolving needs of orthopedic customers worldwide. With over 30 years of operations and leadership experience, Rodney brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Prior to leading Orthoplastics, he served as Vice President of Operations for Viant’s Medical Device Solutions (MDS) division for six years. His career also includes leadership roles at Covidien/Medtronic and DJO, managing global operations across the US, Mexico, Ireland, and the UK.
Rodney holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Microbiology, a Master’s in Manufacturing Management, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration.
