Our Design & Development Centers of Excellence are strategically placed to serve medical device hubs globally. Nearly 100 dedicated design and development engineers use Lean Product Development tools like cross-functional teams and set-based design to reduce time to market, improve product efficacy, and reduce costs. Global Tooling CoE
We leverage new molding technologies and strategic supplier partnerships to provide high-quality, highly repeatable custom medical device tooling. Our services include mold design, a robust build process, and meticulous supplier management to ensure high quality and competitive pricing. We offer the widest range of plastic molding and medical processing capabilities in the industry, with applications in many medical specialties in several markets.
Precision Fabricated Tubing CoE
This COE offers quick-turn fabricated tubes to rapidly refine your design. We offer in-house design of precision die forming and fabrication tooling, which shortens lead time and reduces cost. Our deep materials expertise and onsite material testing lab allow us to help you select the materials with the characteristics you need for optimal performance. We provide tubing for minimally invasive applications.
Precision Machining & Metal Subassembly CoE
With 30+ years of experience, we provide high-precision machining and subassembly with best-in-class technology. Our specialized NPI team can get your product set up on dedicated equipment and launched quickly. Our in-house tool design and fabrication capabilities allow quick design adjustments. We work with many medical specialties in several markets, with particular expertise in arthroscopic, endomechanical and robotic devices.
Assembly CoE
Our experienced teams can handle any assembly project, from low-volume prototypes to high-volume production. We apply Lean principles every step of the way, from design through assembly. These techniques help to identify and reduce waste, which increases efficiency, mitigates risk, compresses timelines, and reduces costs. Our low-cost geographies deliver additional cost savings. We provide assembly services for many medical specialties in several markets.
Packaging CoE
Whether your program is simple or complex, we can design, develop, validate, and test custom packaging solutions to ensure your device arrives safely to its destination. Our dedicated team of degreed packaging engineers have a combined 45+ years of experience and are well versed in FDA regulations as well as international standards for packaging. We offer packaging solutions for many medical specialties in several markets.
