High-Volume Assembly Hub and Thermoforming Center Of Excellence
Viant San Antonio provides high-volume assembly, thermoforming, and finished-device manufacturing for devices that include limb positioners, catheter assemblies, neuromodulation devices, and neurostimulation devices. The site pairs assembly with sterile packaging and global distribution, so devices are packaged, finished, and shipped from one location.
Capability on the floor spans component finishing to complex electromechanical assembly, with in-house inspection confirming quality before a device moves to packaging. San Antonio also works directly with customers on quoting and design modifications, keeping program adjustments moving quickly.
An in-house engineering team of electrical, mechanical, and bio-medical engineers carries a program from first build through sustaining production. Process verification and validation keep a design’s performance steady as a program scales toward volume production.

| Core Capabilities | Our Approach | What it Means For You |
|---|---|---|
| NPI | Dedicated NPI team executing ViaLaunch™ methodology and 3P events, with cross-functional resources (PM, NPI Manager, QEs, MEs, Buyer) aligned from kickoff through production release. | New programs move from concept to validated production with fewer surprises, tighter timelines, and lower launch risk. |
| Program Management | Program management support grounded in EPMO and PMBOK® best practices, with Lean and Six Sigma principles embedded throughout. Viant's team aligns to program goals, proactively manages risk, and maintains clear communication at every stage. | Clear ownership and proactive risk management from kickoff through delivery that supports audit readiness. |
| Thermoforming | A dedicated thermoforming Center of Excellence supports tray and component forming for device and packaging applications. | A formed component moves directly into assembly on the same floor. |
| Electromechanical Assembly | Bonding and welding, die cutting and sewing, tip forming and heat shrinking, and potting and wire stripping support complex hard-good and soft-good device builds, including Class I and Class II devices with in-house PCBA supply chain management. | Mixed-component devices come together under one roof, from a single production team. |
| Packaging | In-house label design and printing, sterile barrier packaging in tray, pouch, and form-fill-seal formats, and management of regional sterilization support a device through to shipment. | A device leaves San Antonio labeled, packaged, and ready for distribution. |
| Manufacturing Automation | In-house automation development spans manufacturing, testing, and packaging, scaled to a program's volume. | Automation gets built around a program's specific requirements, keeping throughput and quality consistent as volume grows. |
| Metrology & Inspection | Pressure decay and leak testing, electrical testing, particle testing, UDI barcode verification, and vision-guided inspection confirm component and device quality | Devices ship only after specifications are confirmed, reducing the chance of a quality issue surfacing downstream. |
