Supply Chain Analyst


The Supply Chain Analyst acts as a key partner to the Procurement, Planning and Logistics/Distribution functions by providing support to monitor and execute current operational processes. This business partner conducts analysis and supports the execution with the goal of improving the organization’s Supply Chain within the Grand Rapids facility. The Analyst uses skills in database management, spreadsheet creation and analysis to improve customer service and overall processes.


  • Weekly tracking of Supply Chain KPIs and report on Supply Chain performance
  • Calculate, propose and oversee safety stock targets
  • Perform basic financial analyses
  • Ownership of cycle count program
  • Define and manage applicable ERP settings and master data
  • Contribute to product phase-out such that obsolete inventory is minimized
  • Monitor capacity loading on assigned production lines and forecast
  • Prepare Executive level presentations as required, such as SIOP, PPV, Inventory levels
  • Query databases for information required for decision making
  • Complete complex spreadsheet analyses during issue resolution and/or scenario planning
  • Provide input for SKU rationalization and other lifecycle management analyses
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering or Supply Chain preferred) or commensurate experience
  • Strong technical capabilities including experience with data analysis.
  • APICS certification a plus
  • Understanding of basic MPS/MRP principles and logic


  • 1-3 years previous Supply Chain analytical experience preferred


  • Analytical mind with business acumen
  • Excellent computer skills; Excel proficiency required
  • Problem solving aptitude
  • Attention to detail


  • Will constantly use hands while keyboarding to access computer
  • Will constantly sit at desk accessing computer and while talking on the telephone
  • Will occasionally stand and walk within office area and to and from various buildings at the facility site
